born in Napoli, 1982, raised in the land of pizza and good food, where the flavour and aroma of raw materials is transformed into the kitchens, driven by love in search of perfectionism of flavour, he studied at the school for chefs in Naples and then perfected already at a young age in the service of the best Italian chefs. Just a collaboration of high caliber, brought him to England 6 years ago.
Previously head Chef of Vitabella and Olio Italian Restaurant.
An incredible opportunity to get to know the chef and master at work.
A wonderful find, tucked away off the beaten track. Wonderful authentic Italian food and drink, a really warm welcome and great service. Reasonably prices.

At here for the first time this evening, and it definitely won't be the last time! What an amazing find. The food is delicious, authentic Italian prepared to the highest standard by the owner.

Wow! What a fantastic spot. My wife and I had an incredible meal here. The whole experience was great. The chef/owner was welcoming and it was very clear that he is incredibly passionate about giving the very best experience to his customers.

Visited this little Bistro today after shopping at the nearby Italian grocers. Was a little unsure about going to a restaurant on a business park, but wow, so glad we did. Had a fantastic meal here, the bruschetta was a treat and the pasta spot on authentic. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back.

Whilst we have visited this restaurant many times this is my first review and I can highly recommend this place. The food is top notch and if you prefer a different type of pasta with any course this will be accommodated (I am a nightmare with spaghetti!).

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Italian supermarket around the corner. All we can say is - WOW! This is a lovely little bistro with fantastically friendly service and top notch food.

It was Monday and my wife and I wanted to mark a special occasion. I went on Google maps and chose a place with a good rating. Amalfi has a perfect 5 stars and is alone in this in Chelmsford as far as I can see. Now, a surprise. The bistro is situated on a busy business centre near to homebase. Call it an upmarket factory estate if you will, but don't let that put you off.

This restaurant is hiding in the industrial estate near HomeBase. I have been driving past for years and had no idea that there was restaurant hiding in the centre. It is in an industrial unit but once inside it is very inviting and bright.
